New digital platform, called fdx, will offer end-to-end e-commerce solutions

In a major announcement on Sunday, FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) introduced fdx, a pioneering data-driven commerce platform designed to seamlessly connect the entire customer journey. This innovative platform is set to simplify the growth of demand, enhance conversion rates, optimize fulfillment processes, and streamline returns for businesses of all sizes. Notably, FedEx stands out as the first logistics company to offer end-to-end e-commerce solutions within a single platform.

“FedEx is transforming into a digitally-led business powered by our extensive physical transportation network, leveraging our scale and insights from moving 15 million packages per day,” declared FedEx Corp. President and CEO Raj Subramaniam. He made this groundbreaking announcement at the National Retail Federation’s Big Show, emphasizing the company’s commitment to becoming a leader in the digital era. “Through fdx, we will enhance our longstanding relationships with merchants to help them optimize and grow their businesses through digital intelligence.”

Scheduled for an official launch in the fall of 2024, the fdx platform is currently accessible as a private preview upon request.
